The Teachers

The Directors are Myra and David Dance. Both Directors are practising English teachers. Amongst their many students, they have taught doctors, teachers, engineers, scientists and personnel from Microsoft, Sony,Allianz and IBM. Myra has a First Class Combined Honours Degree in British History and English Literature; the Further Education Teacher's Certificate and the RSA C TEFLA. David is a retired Army officer who also spent seven years running the European Union's 'Business Euro Info Centre' for south central England. In this post, he gained a wide knowledge of the workings of the EU and the operation of SMEs within the EU.

All our teachers have a university degree and they are all experienced language teachers who are fully qualified to teach English as a foreign language. Most of them speak a second language and have lived and worked abroad. They include personnel from the world of banking, marketing, luxury tourism and executive translation services.

The Location: In the country but close to London

Salisbury is a medieval cathedral city, 80 miles South West of London. We are only 1 ½ hours from London by train. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and south coast beaches can be reached within an hour by car. You can visit the historic cities of Bath (1 hour) or Oxford (1 ½ hours). The world-famous Stonehenge is only 15 minutes drive away.

In Salisbury, you will find good pubs and restaurants, two theatres, a multi-screen cinema, a sports and leisure complex, an excellent selection of shops and a twice-weekly open-air market.
